Embers Perfume Oil

I was looking for something special for the random appearances that I make among friends but didn't want anything too strong or that would bother others. This perfume is perfectly balanced and I love the way it smells. It's not too strong and it reminds me of a bonfire when I wear it. Thanks Katie and team for creating another great product that I really enjoy using :)

I bought Embers a couple years ago when it was still called Dragonfire & Brimstone. That batch definitely had a stronger scent of smoke. I was in love with the first bottle I owned. I wore it constantly and got lots of compliments from co-workers.

The latest bottles I got smelled far more intensely of cinnamon. A girl I was talking to compared it to candy hearts. Nothing wrong with candy hearts, just not really what I was going for as a guy.

Now granted, my most recent batch was from Christmas 2022 when I asked for it as a gift. Because it's so candy-like I don't use it as much as my first bottle and haven't needed more.

I would love if Royalty Soaps looked into adjusting the recipe for this. Or better yet releases a variation Embers, so fans of the current scent stay happy. I want the smokey and tobacco notes to take higher priority. The sweet spice of the cinnamon would better serve as a secondary note.

The scent ratio right now comes off as 85% cinnamon and 15% smokey with my bottles from Christmas 2022. I tend to mix it with another perfume oil from a different company to get something similar to what I liked about the original scent. (But it's a cheap imitation lol)

I know these are hand made batches so maybe some variation is just inevitable, but that's my humble request for this scent. Prioritizing the ratios a little differently might result in a more consistently masculine smell instead of something reminiscent of candy.

Besides this, the scent performs as advertised. It's long lasting - traces of it still hold on strong the next day. Which is nice if I'm putting it on a denim jacket, or a scarf I might wear two days in a row. I'm a fan of whatever base formula these perfume oils are in because the scents just don't quit.

As a man who enjoys Royalty Soaps products, I do hope they expand into more masculine scents overall. I know it's not the priority product, but the base formula is amazing. I'm allergic to a lot of deodorants, spray perfumes and colognes, so oil and melts go a long way for me.

(I also bought Limoncello once but stopped wearing it because I kept getting followed by bees)

Definitely a bit of an acquired taste, but I love it. More of a sort of apple cinnamon scent than I was expecting, but still smokey. A very nice fall scent. One of my new favorite perfumes.

I get this for a friend of mine and she absolutely loves it! It made an amazing gift for her. She loves that the scent isn't overpowering, it doesn't leave a residue, nor is it sticky.

I bought several of these perfume rollers, and I love them! This fragrance is my new favorite. The notes that stand out to me the most are the smokiness and cinnamon, but there's also a slight sweetness.
