Simplicity Sampler Pack

I was so happy to finally get my hands on this sampler set. It was on my wish list for awhile, and it exceeded expectations. My rankings: 1) Minted--I knew I was going to love this one--I love mint of any type, and this spearmint scent reminded me of the green Starlight mints--so clean, with that menthol-like tingle you get from mint products, cool and spicy all at the same time, huge homerun for me; 2) Citrus + Carrots--beautiful, the smells are complementary and create this delicate sweet, earthy, yet fresh and tart from the citrus combination that is truly different--I don't think I've ever smelled any thing like it before; 3) Blameless--sometimes a basic soap is all you need, and this scentless soap just smells clean--I always admire soapmakers who take into account those less "scent-sory" individuals ;); 4) Lavender Cream--I don't know what RS does with lavender, but as a non-lavender person, I literally love what they do with that floral--I was definitely getting sweet and creamy notes with this which went well with the more earthy and grandiose lavender; 5) Detox--ginger, peppery, and almost spicy masculine--I liked the kick with it, but was not expecting it to be strong, it definitely gave me ginger tea vibes, which was pleasant; and 6) Rose Clay + Sea Salt--this was highly floral, so if you like floral scents, this is the one for you!!
I am never disappointed with RS products, and have never met a scent I didn't like. I also personally really liked the inspiration and motivation behind this collection. Highly recommend.

I bought this set cos I've only bought two of the Simplicity bars so far and was dying for the chance to try out the others. With excellent results:
1) Detox - Great zingy-but-not-medicinal scent and the charcoal gives it an appealing soft/gritty texture, like very fine sandpaper. Not usually a fan of black soaps, but might need to make an exception.
2) Citrus & Carrots - both colour and scent are gentle and pretty, fainter than I'd like but would probably be ideal for those with sensitivities.
3) Minted - boy howdy is *this* scent strong, a fine clean spearmint. Colour/texturing is nice too... it just all takes a bit of getting used to.
4) Lavender Cream - one of the two I bought prior. Decent basic lavender soap, I like the organic purple colouring conceit, but can't quite get excited otherwise.
5) Rose Clay - the other one I've bought, a few times now. It's easily the most beautiful of the set and the (strong) scent is both clean and sweet.
6) Blameless - Well, yeah. I like the idea of a perfectly pure soap, and impressed that (unlike some I've seen) it doesn't look or smell odd at all. If I needed it I'm confident I'd love it.
