Sea Forest Shampoo Bar

Smells lovely my personal second favorite

Loved the scent! The bars fit well in my palm while showering and lather up amazingly. I bought this one and an unscented shampoo bar in Feb. 2025 and between the two of them they've lasted me just over a year!!

Unfortunately, something in the formulation left my hair feeling too textured after washing like there was a residue leftover even after several rinses. I have very oily, wavy hair and have mild sensory issues so what may be a squeaky clean feeling to others was uncomfortable for me personally.

My hair also appeared greasier much quicker than usual when this was my primary shampoo and because I haven't had similar issues with the unscented shampoo I believe that it's the fragrance oil or the coloring that may be the cause which is unfortunate as I really liked the scent and color :/

Wonderful product! Simply not a good fit for me and my hair so I will be sticking to my usual unscented shampoo bars for my next order :)

I've been purchasing shampoo bars from a dear friend who no longer makes shampoo bars and she said that Royalty Soaps are the closest to her recipe so I decided to try the Sea Forest scent. The smell was a little overpowering for my nose (but I'm also the type that shies away from someone who wears too much cologne/perfume).
It lathered up really well once I put the bar in the organza bag that my friend gave me for her bar. I didn't initially get this bag from her but when I dropped her bar in the shower, it broke into a few pieces. She sent this bag to me and it was a game-changer for lather! I'm now using it for this bar. Just a suggestion for anyone else using this bar. And yes... it left my hair hair soft and manageable while getting rid of excess oils. I will buy again... maybe a different scent next time.
